Where imagination meets insight.
Unwind and Heal (My Five Stars Cove)
The Noise The day was a hammer, rhythmic and loud, A zillion meetings, a faceless crowd,
Deadlines that chase like a hound on the heel,
In a rat race world of plastic and steel.
I bury my breath in the hurry and hum,
Until I am empty, until I am numb.
The Turning But then comes the turn, the key in the door,
And the world of the deadlines is out there no more.
I arrive at the place that I simply call home,
Where I am not just a title, nor am I alone.
I zip all the worries and failures away,
A quiet erasure of a hectic day.
The Arrival The kids are waiting with questions so bright, Pulling me into their soft, gentle light. A warm, home-cooked meal, my wife’s quiet grace, The "Masterpiece" family in their rightful place. Our favorite melody, a slow, gentle song, Confirms I’ve arrived right where I belong.
The Noise The day was a hammer, rhythmic and loud, A zillion meetings, a faceless crowd,
My Paradise The table is set for the five of us high, Me, wife, and kids, beneath the vast sky. On the rooftop balcony, stars for our dome, The noise of the city a distant, dull foam. I bury the chatter, I set the night free, In the Five Stars of my Kingdom, just being me.
